From horrendous villain to hilarious, foul-mouthed hostage taker, a stoic—yet sexy—Mr. Spock, or even a campy gay BFF to a former teen star, Quinto has pursued diverse and distinct roles instead of cultivating celebrity. His international fame is merely a by-product of a devoted legion of fans who have responded enthusiastically to his unique talents and creative choices.
Perhaps it was those very choices that allowed Quinto to come out with such celebration and what he called “universal support.”
